Greeting Ghouls...here is a recap of the
shows last week from Wednesday 13 as well as some news.
The
week started off bad because we had an ice/snow storm here in NC. This
made it a difficult task to travel to rehearsals as well as the
show on Thursday. However, we made it through mother natures
beating and had a great fucking time. First off, Gory, Chris Lee and
Nicodemous of Death Becomes You
rule and played great, I couldn't have picked anyone more perfect for
this. The shows were okay, attendance wise, a lot of old friends
came out as well as fans from all over the South East. We didn't
have any great advertising/promotion for the shows and this was all
word of mouth, so all in all, I was pleased with the turn out. The
venues treated us great, and we had a blast. The show on Saturday in
Myrtle Beach was at a very tiny place that we booked last minute
due to a cancellation at another club. This place was owned by
a friend of a friend. It was small, very minimal PA and
was the size of a coffee shop, but we punk rocked it and had
fun. I want to thank all the fans who came out and supported me and the
ghouls ... you guys rule!!!
In other news:
The
Thirteen Dead Kids merch will be unveiled at the Magic Convention in
February. Mrs.13 and I will be there on Feb 23rd, and I'll be doing
a signing at the booth. The merch should be hitting stores in
March, so go ahead and start demanding it at your favorite stores.
Remember, It's up to you to "Spread the Dead."
The upcoming FDQ
release '6 Years, 6 Feet, Under The Influence' should see a
European release at the end of March as well as the re-release of
the 'The Late Late, Late Show' with bonus tracks.
There are some other tricks and treats
coming your way in 2004, like my book,

January
7, 2004 "A lot of questions have been coming in, asking what I will be doing at these shows. I will not be modeling clothing, I will not be doing stand up comedy, unless you consider the music I've made in the past comedy, and no other members of the Murderdolls will be performing with me. I will however be playing songs from the entire Frankenstein Drag Queens history, as well as a few surprises. I have the Florida based graverockers Death Becomes You as my backing band. These guys are a bunch of gruesome ghouls and these shows are sure to be a visual hand-grenade of horror. The reason for this tour is to promote the new merchandise line, The Thirteen Dead Kids, as well as to fulfill my boredom from sitting on my ass while the Murderdolls are on this break. I will have merch available at the shows, as well as an exclusive The Thirteen Dead Kids shirt, only available at these shows. Be sure to check out the new frankensteindragqueens.com for news on the upcoming FDQ "6 Years, 6 Feet Under the Influence" album available early 2004. I hope to see all the Ghoulscouts at the shows and I promise not to let you down, thanks for all your support and stay ghoul." WEDNESDAY 13's US Solo Dates: January 1, 2025 It's up to you to Spread the Dead...Go check out the new

December 17,
2003
I've been busy as fuck
as of lately. After the Iron Maiden and Stone Sour tour ended
last July I came home and pretty much just relaxed, took it easy, and
spent time with my family. Over the months I got bored,
started drawing one day,
and I came up with a pretty cool concept and cast of characters.
I got really heavy into developing theses characters along with Mrs.
13, and now we have turned it into a merchandise line that will
be unleashed unto the public in 2004 worldwide. The line is
called "The Thirteen
Dead Kids," and they are basically 13 little, weird, dead
kids, in all red and black of course, and will be available on shirts,
bags, stickers, patches, etc. I'm really excited to get this
stuff out and it's something I think Murderdolls fans, or anyone
with a good, sick sense of humor will catch on to
immediately. The website
will be up and running soon.
As far as
Murderdolls happenings, we are working on doing a show or 2 before
Joey gets into the new Slipknot album cycle. We'll keep ya posted on
that. I've got a few more tricks up my sleeve for 2004. Live
appearances? Homicide? World domination? You'll have to wait and see. Continue
to check out this site for all the latest. I wanna thank
all the fans out there from the UK to Outer Space who have
given the Murderdolls their undying support since the beginning and
who will continue to support us during our hiatus.
Thank you and Happy
Horrordays!!! December 15,
2003 The site is under construction but we are
stitching it together piece by piece every day. |
